Pot Roast Air Fryer Recipes

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • - 3-4 lbs chuck roast
  • - 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • - 1 teaspoon salt
  • - 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • - 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • - 1 teaspoon paprika
  • - 4 medium potatoes quartered
  • - 3-4 carrots cut into chunks
  • - 1 onion quartered
  • - 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  • Cooking Instructions:
  • Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Rub the chuck roast with olive oil, and season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and paprika on all sides.
  • Place the seasoned roast in the air fryer basket and cook for 25 minutes, turning halfway through, until browned.
  • While the roast is cooking, prepare the vegetables by placing the potatoes, carrots, and onion in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • After the roast has browned, remove it from the air fryer and place it in a baking dish. Surround it with the prepared vegetables.
  • Pour the beef broth over the roast and vegetables, cover the dish with aluminum foil, and return it to the air fryer.
  • Cook for an additional 40-50 minutes at 320°F (160°C) or until the roast reaches your desired doneness (typically 195°F-205°F internal temperature for tender meat).
  • Once done, remove the pot roast and vegetables from the air fryer and let them rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
  • For best results, always check the internal temperature of the roast using a meat thermometer to verify it's cooked to your liking. Additionally, feel free to experiment with different herbs and spices to customize the flavor of your pot roast.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheated for a delicious meal later in the week. Enjoy your tender, flavorful air fryer pot roast!
