Cooking Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, crushed pineapple, green onions, bell pepper, egg, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly apart.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they're cooked through and slightly browned on the outside.
While the meatballs are baking, heat the additional teriyaki sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat until warmed through. Once the meatballs are done, drizzle the sauce over them or toss them in the sauce to coat.
Remove the meatballs from the oven, garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley, and serve warm.
For an extra touch, consider adding chopped pineapple or sesame seeds as a garnish. You can also serve these meatballs with a side of steamed rice or a fresh salad to balance the flavors.
If you're making them ahead of time, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat before serving. Enjoy the taste of Hawaii right from your kitchen!
