Egg Wrap Recipe

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • - 4 large eggs
  • - 2 tablespoons milk
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - 1 tablespoon butter or cooking oil
  • - 1/2 cup shredded cheese optional
  • - 1/2 cup cooked vegetables spinach, bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.
  • - Cooked protein ham, chicken, or tofu, optional
  • - Fresh herbs parsley, cilantro, or chives, optional

Instructions

  • Instructions:
  • In a medium bowl, crack the eggs and add the milk, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined and the mixture is frothy.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter or oil, allowing it to melt and coat the pan evenly.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the skillet, swirling it around to cover the bottom evenly. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the edges begin to set.
  • Using a spatula, gently lift the edges of the egg wrap and tilt the pan to allow any uncooked egg to flow to the edges. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the egg is fully set but still slightly soft in the center.
  • If desired, sprinkle cheese, vegetables, and protein over one half of the egg wrap. Using the spatula, carefully fold the other half over the filling and let it cook for another minute to warm the contents.
  • Slide the egg wrap onto a plate, cut it in half, and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or salsa.
  • For extra tips, consider experimenting with different fillings to create a variety of flavors. You can also add spices or sauces to the egg mixture for an extra kick.
  • If you're looking for a lower-carb option, skip the cheese and fill the wrap with plenty of fresh vegetables. Additionally, if you're preparing multiple wraps, keep the cooked wraps warm in a low oven while you finish cooking the rest. Enjoy your culinary creations!
