Beef Cuts Recipes

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • - Beef tenderloin or sirloin cut into 1-inch cubes
  • - 4 cloves garlic minced
  • - 3 tablespoons butter
  • - 2 shallots diced
  • - 2 green onions sliced
  • - Fresh parsley chopped
  • - 2 tablespoons neutral oil e.g., vegetable or canola
  • - Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Instructions:
  • Heat a cast iron pan over medium-high heat and add the neutral oil. Once the oil is hot, add the beef cubes in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Sear the steak bites for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they're browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak bites from the pan and set them aside.
  • In the same pan, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and diced shallots. Cook for about 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the garlic is lightly golden and fragrant.
  • Return the seared steak bites to the pan, tossing them in the garlic butter mixture to warm through for an additional minute. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and chopped parsley before serving.
  • Extra Tips:
  • To achieve the best results when cooking Garlic Butter Steak Bites, verify that your steak is at room temperature before searing. This helps the meat cook evenly.
  • Additionally, avoid overcrowding the pan, as this can prevent proper browning and result in steaming rather than searing. If you're looking for a simpler version, you can easily substitute the tenderloin with sirloin and add just olive oil, garlic, and parsley for a quick and satisfying meal.
